The Principles
1.
Emphasis on correct alignment and body mechanics to prevent injury and habilitate the body.
2.
High value on educating about the 'hows' and 'whys' so that you can build a deeper understanding and stronger awareness of your body.
3.
Exercises should be performed out of love for our bodies and we should feel positively affected; both during and after a workout.
About Me
Hi! My name is Kyla Monroe.
I got my start in the world of movement as a dancer. I have trained in classical ballet as well as other dance styles from the age of 3. In 2015 I began teaching what I love: BALLET. However, I wanted to do more. In 2018 I obtained my certification in Pilates instruction. I began to see the value in working with individual bodies in a highly specified way. Now I live for teaching others how to support their bodies in the smartest and most sustainable ways possible.

My favorite aspect of both teaching and working 1-on-1 is getting to see the improvements of my students and clients. I'm not talking about before and afters, I'm talking about the gradual progress, the changes in mindset, the excitement and pride of feeling better about themselves on the inside as well as feeling better physically. My clients' goals become my goals! I am committed to seeing that moment when the connection between mind, body, and intention is aligned. This strengthened connection will produce more sustainable results and a lifetime of beneficial knowledge and practices.
